Here i am going to show you one way to do it..!
Even though Windows XP is not as high end operating system it has its own significance.
Follow the steps to make your removable devices as RAM
- Right click on My Computer and select properties option
- Now click on Advanced
- In the Performance option click on settings
- Now in the pop up window opened, again click on Advanced tab
- Now at the last under Virtual memory section click on Change option
- You will finding a new pop up window with title Virtual memory in that select the drive you want to make as RAM.
- Now the main thing, Below to that you will be having a window Click oncustomize size and check your available free space in the removable disk and write them in Initial and Maximum size space else you may even leave it for the system by clicking on System managed size and click on SET
- Now enjoy your boosted PC or once just reboot your system and feel the difference
The above trick just helps your speed up you computer by saving the cache files in it..
